Huashan with my mother.

I am planning on visiting Huashan in September with my mother. I will wake up and do a climb before sunrise and I am hoping she can meet me on the mountain via cable car.
My first question is which is the best peak to climb? I also would like to do the plank walk.
Thank you.

Hi, if you climb the Mt. Huashan on foot, you can start the hike from Jade Spring Temple. The first peak you will reach is the North Peak and the hike takes around 4 hours. There's also cable car to reach the North Peak. Continue your walk to the East Peak (2-3 hours), which is the best place to enjoy the sunrise. Then go ahead to the South Peak where you can experience the Plank Walk. Finally you will get to the West Peak to descend the mountain by cable car. It takes about 40 minutes to walk between East Peak, South Peak and the West Peak.
