Booking Moscow to Beijing.

We are both Australian but my wife was born in China and we travel there at least once per year. We would like to fly to Europe and then book the train back from Moscow. Are we able to book through a Chinese travel agent and pick up our tickets before we leave for Europe from China?
Would a Chinese travel agent handle obtaining out Russian and Mongolian visas if we are Australian?
