About:China Transit Visa

Shanghai airport to cruise

I will arrive one evening in Shanghai, stay the night, and leave on a cruise the next day. We'll go to Japan and return later via cruise ship to Shanghai, where well transit to the airport and return home to USA. Do I need a Cusa?

Cohen, if you travel like USA-Shanghai (one night)-Japan-Shanghai (less than 144 hours)-USA, you will be able to use the free transit in Shanghai in both directions. No visa will be required.
