How to go to both Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall from Downtown Beijing? Thanks.

Gubei Water Town is located at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall. From downtown, you can take subway line 2 or line 13 to Dongzhimen Station first, then take bus 980 or 980 Express to Miyun Bus Station. Upon arrival, change to bus Mi 51, Mi 50 or Mi 37 to Simatai Village Station, and then walk to the entrance of the water town. The journey takes around four hours.

If your time is ample, you may spend two days there and stay overnight at Gubei Water Town to enjoy the night view of the great wall.
