Question

On visa form asks if you have been to China before?My partner went about 11 years ago but can not find old passport to say when as got new passport in 2010 so how do we answer the question have you been to China before when don't know exact date?

Karen, honestly speaking, if you can't find the old passport, you can simply say a no to this question. Just for your reference. I know that if you say a yes, the consular officer may ask your partner to provide the old passport.
