Cruise ship visa for double entry - no overnight stay

Later in 2017, from a cruise ship, we land in Tianjen (for Beijing) 1 day, then we leave for Busan, South Korea, returning to Shanghai for 1 day (no overnight) we then leave China altogether....do we need a Chinese Visa if we only use ship's tours?

You’d better apply for a double-entry visa for that.
