hello, i have been teaching in china on a z visa for nearly 7 months.

Question

I am happy here an have met a special woman, we have been together for 6 months. I want to know what is the maximum length of time that I can stay as a uk citizen (I.e. Renewing my z type) and if it possible to obtain a D type?

You can continue to renew your residence permit for work. Based on the marriage with a Chinese, you can apply for a Q type. As for a Permanent residence permit, it is quite complicated.
