About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Hi i am planning to visit hk this june and i am a premanent resident of united states of america

holding a nepali passport. This will be my second visit and my uncle and his family is there so they are going to send an invitation letter but they are not sponsors because i am financially stable. I am also planning to visit macau and philippines and i was thinking if i can apply visa now so That i will get cheaper flights. Will they give me visa from june? Do i have to buy tickets before i apply? And what are my requirements?

Dixya, you need to buy tickets before you apply. I cannot assure if they will give you the visa from June. Just give it a try!
first, prepare the relevant documents including copy of your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, financial support proof, transportation and accommodation arrangement and your travel plan. Next, prepare two separate applications; and submit Macau visa application to China embassy, and ask your uncle to submit the HK visa application to HK immigration department.

Thankyou gor replying. Why my uncle has to submit those documents? Can i just submit those documents to chinese embassy by myself? I also have heard peoples review on chinese embassy that after they bought the tickets before they applied the visa and they got the visa after their flight dates.

If it’s the first time you apply for HK visa, you should submit the application to HK immigration department. If your uncle helps you do that, it may help a lot with your application.

This will be my second visit. I am afraid that after i buy my tickets they won't give me a visa then i will loose thousand dollars.
