About:China Visa Application in UK

How accurate is the above pricing?

How accurate is the above pricing? (As of March 2017)
i.e. Single-Entry with 3-month Validity for Citizens of Other Countries (£20) +£66 regular CVASC fee =£86 ?
Can it be done cheaper when done via an agency?

The above pricing is accurate. I cannot tell you for sure if it will be cheaper if you apply through a travel agency. You can have a try, but you may also need to pay service fee to the agency if you do that.
