is it possible to catch the sunrise at the simatai wall as the opening hour is 8 a.m.?

I want to hike from Simatai to Jinshanlig -  how should I arrange the tickets then and are the double entry tickets (as for Jinshanling section) available? I assume I should start the hike - could anyone tell me how to get there from Xiaoling, Gubei Water Town, where I'll be staying? Thank you for the answer.

Monika, the sunrise is usually at 6:30 or so now. You might miss the sunrise if you go to Simatai. It is suggested you stay one night at Jinshanling. You can check in the Jinshan Hotel inside the scenic area and get up early in the morning to see the sunrise. I heard the hiking route between Simatai and Jinshanling is officially closed nowadays. It is not suggested you to do it.
