Transit to Russia through Beijing (PEK)

Greetings
Could you please tell me whether the citizen of Tajikistan can go to Russian through Beijing without gettin any visa? Because the layover time is only 20 hours. And if can, what if the arrival terminal to Beijing (PEK) airport is different from the terminal the one is going to depart for the third country? Appreciate your respond. Thanks

Yes, I think so, because you can make use of the 24-hour direct transit policy. If you need to go out from the arrival terminal to the departure terminal, you need to show your passport and connecting flight ticket when going through the immigration counter in order to obtain a temporary stay permit.

Thank you for your response. As it is shown in one of illustrated picture in this website, the passengers who leave the country within 24 hour can even go by other mean of transport, thus logically it should not be a problem to get from one terminal into the other terminal. I would be grateful if you could give the the exact answer for this situation. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can go from a terminal to another one. It won't be a problem. The temporary stay permit is not a visa, it's just a stamp on your passport and it is free, so don't worry about it.
