hk to shenzhen, then guangzhou to france

Question

Hi,My chinese visa expires just before my flight back and no extension is possible. So can I exit China to HK through Shenzhen border, then go back through the same border and ask a transit visa ? Or ask a transit visa if I go to Guangzhou by train ? Or is it only possible when flying to Shenzhen/Guangzhou ?Thanks ! PS: I'm French.

Looploop, if you just transit in Guangzhou or Shenzhen for not more than 24 hours, you can get the 24 hour direct transit facility, and then no need to apply for a visa. Or you can apply for a 5-day VOA in Shenzhen, but you cannot go to Guangzhou with the VOA.
