Mistake on Ticket

I mistakenly did not enter the first name of one of the two passengers on my round trip ticket from Beijing to Kunming. All of the other information is correct though, including middle names, passport info, birthdays, etc. Will I still be allowed to go on the flight? Or will I have to cancel the flight and buy another one?

Usually the first name is needed for flight ticket. It would be better if you contact the airlines first to see if possible to add your first name with a fee. Some airlines can make small modification of passenger information.
