About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flight from Auckland to Chongqin, Chongqin to Beijing, Beijing to Moscow, Moscow to Stuttgart

My daughter, German resident, booked a one way ticket back to Germany. There is a 14 hours transit in Chongqin and a 2 hours transit in Peking. Unfortunately these are 2 different chinese airlines and she would probably need to get the baggage.
As these are 2 chinese cities: would the 72hours free transit visa be applicable?

Micha, no, the 72 hour free transit cannot cover this trip, but she is qualified for the 24 hour direct transit if she travels like that. And then no visa is needed for this trip either.
