About:China Private Visit Visa

How can I transfer my visa from Z to S2? What are the requirements?.

My dad and I are working here in China but my Z type will be expire on April.

First step is to prepare those documents including your passport, a completed application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your dad and copies of his passport and residence permit, as well as your relationship certificate. Next, go to the exit and entry administration to change the work Z type to an S2 type.

do I still need an invitation letter? I'm from Pingxiang, China and he is from Shanghai, China. I don't have Foreign Expert Certificate. I only have working visa on my passport and my previous requirements from my job. Exactly 1 month left before my Z visa will expired. Thank you.
