About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

6 of us are travelling to Guangzhou and are staying overnite on 30th May and 6th July (2 nights).

Can we get a Transit Visa when we arrive at the Airport in Guangzhou, and how much, as we are only staying 2 Nights? Thank you..

Hi Christine, if you are not in an emergency, I'm afraid you can't get the visa on arrival. It's hard to get it. However, if you fly from a country to Guangzhou and will leave for another country after the stay in Guangzhou, you may qualify for the 72h free transit in Guangzhou so that you do not need the transit permit.

You should apply for it at the transit counter inside Guangzhou airport.
