About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa twice in one month

Hey, can someone help me? I'm a german citizen and have a flight to Australia next week. On my way there I get 13 hours stop in Beijing. Does this count under 72 transit to get around the city?
After 10 days I'm flying to Tokyo for 5 days and then I'll have a 2 days stop in shanghai on my way back to germany. Would that be possible in Shanghai again?
Thanks!!

You can have 24 hours free transit in Beijing, and 144 hours in Shanghai.

If you wanna use the 72/144 h twov, there's no visa to apply for.
TWOV means 'transit without visa'.
The transit visa , you asked for, is something totally different and you don't need it in your case.
