About:China Private Visit Visa

Hi I am from India! I want to visit my girlfriend in Shanghai, who is on work visa,

do I fall in the category of S2 or should I apply for L type only?

If you two don’t get married, you can only apply for tourist L type to visit your girlfriend.

Hey! Mr. Luther I really appreciate your answer. Will you please tell me one more thing? As I am going to stay with her at her address? Do I need to mention that or do I need to show hotel reservation?
Lastly does she need to send me any invitation letter?

Gurmeet, she can issue you an invitation letter, and inside the invitation letter, she needs to mention that you will stay with her at her address. In this case, you don’t need to provide the hotel reservation.
