About:China Visa Fees

Can I extend my visa past the 60 days before it expires?

My partner is working another week after it expires and I would like to holiday with him.

Yes, you can extend it 7 days prior to its expiry date.

The extension will cost CNY168. If you hold tourist L type, you should first prepare your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, and an invitation letter from your partner. Next, go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to apply for the extension.
