About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Can a S2 visa be renewed with in China.

My company is renewing my Z type/resident permit in China. But I am not sure if my family who is on S2 type can renewed their visa at the same time. They don't have resident permit.

Kumar, yes, the S2 type can be renewed within China.

Hello Matt,
Thank you so much for replying. I have one quick query.
Do you know what are the documents needed for S2 visa extension within Beijing (China). Do you recommend any consultant in this regards.
Do you need any legalized/authenticated documents, which means I have to run all corners with my Indian embassy and other places.

Your family member needs to provide your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from you, and copies of your passport and residence permit, as well as relationship certificate. Then submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to extend it.
The relationship certificate needs to be attested by the embassy of China in your home country.
