Asking about luggage size that can be brought in to the train.

According to our trip to china, i have some questions to ask you : 1. i have big suitcase (30"). Is it allowed to bring it via rail from hongkong to Guangzhou?; 2. Is it allowed to bring big suitcase (30") into cabin?; 3. How big suitcase and how many goods are allowed?
