About:China Visa Fees

Hold United Kingdom passport, currently living in New Zealand, planning to visit Shanghai for 1 week

Currently working in NZ temporarily. Would like to stay with a friend in Shanghai for a week. Would I apply through the Wellington embassy with my UK passport?

I assume I only need tourist visa. Thank you

Yes, if you live within the consular district of the embassy in Wellington, you can apply from there.
