Requirement for get china visa

Hi, I'm Nuwan, I like to visit china with one of my friend as tourist. we plan to stay china in 20 days. when i visit embassy for get details there was a security guard and he is not allowed me to go inside and get details. He said i should bring invitation letter from china. Now i'm confused. for visit china as tourist do i need any invitations ?? and what are the other required documents i should bring with my application form ? can i get visa by one days service ? what are the fees for visa ? and duration for each visa ?

Yes, you need to show the invitation. You can provide “Invitation Letter for Tourist” from Chinese Tourist Bureau, Invitation letter from a travel organizer in China, or an individual invitation letter from Chinese resident.

If you choose to provide one the former two letters, you need to book a tour from a tour agency. Except the invitation letter, you should take your passport and its copy, a completely filled-out application form attached with your recent photo, your financial standing proof, a travel itinerary, etc.

It's possible to get it by one day service. The fee is RS.3200 for a single entry and the rush service fee is RS.5500, Rs.8700 in total. The duration is about 30 days, depending on your itinerary.
