About:Visa Policy of China

we will arrive in the harbour of Shanghai after a cruise which is coming from Hongkong.

Hallo,
From the harbour we will go to
the airport and leave China same morning.
Do we need a visa for China in that case?

If you will fly to a third country or region rather than HK after visiting Shanghai, you will be able to sue the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. No visa will be needed then.

Thanks Neil, there is a lot of confusion about this item here in Holland, nobody knows the exact answer. We are afraid that Chinese customs have other rules and make problems so we shall miss our homeflight
