I am a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and a holder of a Trinidad and Tobago passport. I would like to know if I would require a visa to visit China? My stay would be for about two weeks. I would be visiting my friend home and family that I met here in the Philippines.

You should first prepare the relevant documents for tourist L type: your passport and photocopy of its data page, a completed application form, a passport-style photo, your study permit in Philippines, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation as well as your financial support proof. Next, go to the embassy of China to submit the application.
