About:China Work Visa

I am a British national and I have been invited by a British firm operating in Shanghai

to do an unpaid internship for three months. They stated that they will invite me and that I would need an 'M' type for this. I have however been to the visa centre and they stated that this is not possible and that I need a 'Z' type. I informed the company but they said that this takes a long time and is difficult as one of the requirements is that I have two years work experience in the field which I do not as I am still taking my bachelors degree. elp please!

In principle, you can apply for a business M type for the 3-month unpaid internship, but if the CVASC requires a work Z type, you’d better get a work Z type for that.
