About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

travel from AMS to Seoul from Seoul to Shanghai (<72 hours) from Shanghai back to Amsterdam i

do I need a visa for this trip or can I use the 72 h free transit?

or should I travel from AmS- Seoul to Shanghai (<72 hours) back to Seoul and then Amsterdam to have the free transit?

If you travel like AMS-Seoul-Shanghai-Amsterdam, you will be able to use the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.
The second itinerary is not eligible for the 72 hour free transit.
