About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

AMS - GuangZhou - HK - ShangHai - AMS

Good afternoon,

Would the following be allowed (basically double-transit in short period of time):

AMS - GuangZhou (4 days) - HK (1 day) - ShangHai (3 days) - AMS

Yes, your itinerary is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit, once in Guangdong province and once in wider Shanghai area.

The only detail you should take care of is to buy your ferry ticket from Nansha (south from Guangzhou) or Shekou (in Shenzhen) to Hong Kong before your departure from Amsterdam. Also, you will need to print out that ticket and to have it with you. In the end, you will really have to take exactly that ferry you have bought your ticket for before your departure from Europe.
