About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hi there, I have a question regarding on my China visa.

I am a Malaysian and currently working in Beijing with (M) type with (0) entry permitted.
While waiting for my (Z) type to be done, i am requested to go back Malaysia for business matter.

What type should I apply in Malaysia in order for me to enter China again to collect my (Z) type?
I was told by locals that it will be tough for me to apply visa and enter China again, as they might suspect I am seeking for a job here.

I hope you can help me on this.
Best regards!

Leslie, no, you cannot make a new application in Malaysia. Once you apply for a new visa in China, your application for work Z type will be voided. You’d better wait for the completion of your work Z type in Beijing. After getting the work Z type and residence permit, you can go back to Malaysia and then re-enter China.

Leslie, in principle, you cannot hold two visas at the same time.
