About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Auckland via Beijing

Hi! We are traveling to Auckland via Beijing from Spain. We have 13 hours of connection time and we like to make a very short quick trip to the city. Do we have to get the 72-hours free transit? What is the difference with Direct transit?

Thnaks a lot!

You don't have to get the 72h free transit. It's similar to the 24h direct transit. As your layover time is less than 13 hours, the 24h direct transit is enough for you. It's easier to apply. Both the 24-h direct transit and 72-h free transit are a stamp on your passport.
