The applicants holding ordinary passport from the Consular Jurisdiction of Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata (Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa and West Bengal) are requested to go to "Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Kolkata (CVASC)" for application.
Applicants from Maharashtra and Karnataka are requested to go to the Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai and applicants from the rest areas of India should go to the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi for application.
So, You have to visit New Delhi for apply student visa.1
