Is there a place I can buy a ticket for Haikou - Sanya? Train leaves in 5 days time.

They seems different system. You can buy it online and collect it at the station after your arrival or you can buy it directly at the counter after you reach Haikou.

You can try to buy it in China Travel Service(HK), But they will charge you Extra HK$50 per ticket and they sell high speed rail tickets only
