About:Badaling Great Wall

How different between getting Badaling by train from Beijing North and Huangtudian?

I want to know that is the railway from Beijing North still running to BDL? and What's is the easiest way to go BDL by train if I stay at Xidan? I plan to go there on upcoming 24 Feb. Thank you for your answer in advanced.

Bell, the train doesn't start at BJ North anymore. Now, you need to go to Huangtudian to take the train to BDL, which is 15 miles from Xidan. You are advised to take a taxi to Deshengmen, where you can take direct bus no. 877 to the Wall. The duration is only about 1h and costs CNY12.
