15 hours layover

Hi! I am a canadian flying from Indonesia to Vancouver with a 15 hours layover in Xiamen. Can I get the 24 hours transit at the Xiamen airport or do I need to apply in advance? How does it work? Thanks a lot!

Yes, you can get it at the airport without the need to apply for it advance. Upon arrival, you need to show your passport and onward air ticket so that you can go through the immigration check. If you want to leave the airport, you need to tell the officer so that she or he can stamp a temporary stay permit on your passport.
