About:China Business Visa

How can my girlfriend stay as a tourist 1 year???

Hi, I am plannig to go and work in China this year. School is going to take care of my Z type and accommodation. I would like to take my girlfriend with me as a tourist. How can she stay in China for 1 year? What visa she can get and where?
P.S. I am from Serbia and from 15th January citizens of my country can visit China without any visa for 30 days.

I’m afraid your girlfriend cannot stay in China for a year as a tourist.
However, if you two get married, your girlfriend can apply for an S1 type which may allow her to stay for one year.

Dear Nelson,

Thank you for your answer, but we would like to get married when we think we are ready for that big step in our lives and we are still young. Can you tell me what are other options? If she can not stay for 1 year, can she somehow stay for 6 months or even more? Can she get some other type like F or M? Can she get some visa that can be extended couple of times in China? Can she go to China as a tourist and find some job and maybe get some one like mine Z type? etc.
Please give me some other solution that you think will work great, one month is just to short period of time. Hope to hear from you soon and once again thank you very much for helping me.

F/M type are business visas which valid for 3 month and 1 month stay in china, your GF can get Student X type by applying in university which is costly , if you can afford it is the best way , next way , finding the job also possible , but not for china which Chinese Language is mandatory , hope it can help
