Transit at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I booked a flight to Moscow from Manila via Philippines Airlines (Manila to GZ) and Aeroflot (GZ to Moscow)

when i arrive at GZ, i have to collect my luggage from manila flight and check in again for Moscow flight. Lay over is 6 hours between flights. Do i need transit visa to check out and check in at immigration? thanks

According to your situation, it's an international to international transfer at CAN.
Hereunder is the correct transfer procedures:
Flight Arrival - Inspection & Quarantine - Transfer Procedure - Waiting & Boarding
You don't need to apply for the China visa. You can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy because your layover is just around 6 hours. Thus you don't need to check out and check in at immigration. Hope helpful!

Hello Jackson,
thanks for your reply. FYI Manila to GZ flight is via Airline 1 and GZ to Moscow is via Airline 2 so i do have to collect our luggage from the manila flight and check them in again for the flight to Moscow. does this change anything? don't i have to pass through immigration before i collect my lugguage? thanks
