About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do we need Visa to visit China and we are US Citizen coming from Manila to Hongkong to china

Our original flight is from SFO to Manila and then going back to SFO-USA from Manila to Hongkong layover for 5-days then visit the Great Wall of China to for two days and do I still need a visa entry to China

If your routing is SFO-MNL-HKG-PEK-SFO then you don't need a visa (as long as you are less than 72 hours in Beijing).
If your routing is SFO-MNL-HKG-PEK-HKG-SFO then you do need a visa.
