Arrive Shanghai 1000 lst May 2017
Depart Shanghai 1700 3rd May 2017

Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn.

One New Zealand passport and one Australian passport

No, you don't need the visa as it seems both of you qualify for the 144hrs free transit policy.
