trains from guilin to hong kong

Question

Dear All,I'm planning to take 2 rides to reach HK from Guilin.I would like to take G2905 at 17:51 from Guilin North which arrives to Guangzhou South railways station at 20:23.When I will arrive there I would like to take undergroud to reach Guangzhou East railways station. Then I would take the ride at 21:32 in direction HK (Z811).Do you think that is it possible to take 2° ride if I arrive in Guangzhou one hour before?

I think the time is not enough for you to catch the second trip at 20:23. The transfer from south sattion to east station would take about 1 hour. The immigration check also begin in advance, around 45min before departure.
