About:China Work Visa

Specific Embassy or Consulate

I was verbally told by the Chinese consulate in Los Angeles that when I get the invitation letter it should be addressed to the specific consulate I will be applying for the Z visa. Anybody had a similar issue?

Yes, got letter of invitation from my potential Chinese employer...but they addressed it Washington DC Chinese embassy. I live in Wisconsin so they should have listed the Chicago Chinese embassy as the processing point. Visa could not be processed for this reason....it was a complete expensive disaster.
