About:China Transit Visa

22 hours layover in Beijing

Hi, I'm an Indonesian passport holder and will have a flight with Air China from Incheon to Jakarta. I have a 22 hours layover in Beijing and an hour transit in Xiamen. Am I eligible to use that 24-hour direct transit to go out the airport and sightseeing the Beijing? Or should I apply the visa?

Yuliana, yes, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit if you travel like that. No visa will be needed. You can go out the airport for sightseeing in Beijing as long as you apply for a free temporary stay permit at Beijing airport.
