ny to hk to beijing

flying from ny to hk staying 5 days then flying to Beijing for 5 days what type of visa(s) do i need

Riley, if you go to Beijing for sightseeing purpose, you need to get an L type. If you are a US citizen, you don't need the entry permit for HK.
