Do I need to do the pre arrival registration in HKSAR if I wish to transit to mainland China ?

In case passengers want to use direct transfer by ferry to mainland China from Hong Kong international airport do we need to obtain the pre arrival registration?

As you will leave the airport to take the ferry, you need to do the pre arrival registration.
