About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrive Shanghai by cruise ship in morning and depart by plane to Sydney in the evening

Are we eligible for 72 hour transit visa?

If the last country you come from before entering Shanghai is not Australia, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
