About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australia - Hong Kong - 72hours Kunming - Hong Kong Australia

I live and work in Hong Kong (Australian with HK ID card). I want to take my partner to Kunming for 3 days Can this happen with the 72 hour Visa rule?

No, unless you arrive from, and leave to, different cities: e.g. Sydney-KMG, KMG-HKG or vice versa
