apply for double entry without having tickets for second entry

Hi, i am going to china next month for 2 weeks , planning to visit a friend in hongkong ny train ,but not sure which date ,time of travel, because maybe another friend will join this trip too. So will not have train ticket booked before applying visa . Is if possible to aply for double entry visa without ticket shanghai shenzhen, but only add hotel bookings
