I'm from Georgia , want to travel in Thailand

hello , I'm from Georgia , i work in china already 3 year have , work Z type, I need information ,do I have to apply for visa in Thailand embassy , I called in Georgian embassy they told me I don't need visa but want to make sure , also embassy of Georgia asked me what kind of guarantee later I need , also if I apply in Beijing do I have to stay there to wait passport? how meany day it's takes to get visa ? also if I can apply from internet ? I live another city when I apply for visa , if embassy can give me some document to back In Dalian by plain or I must have to wait in Beijing for passport? finally it is impossible to call Thailand embassy ? I tried already 3 days non stop but no answer. thanks
