About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

What to I do differently if I am traveling with a friend and his parent but without my parents?

We are both U.S. Citizens with U.S. passports and I want to get a Chinese visa to go to China in a few months. I am under the age of 18.

If so, you need to get a consent letter from your parents and copies of their passports to prove that they are willing to let you go with your friend’s parents.
