About:Kunming Airport

I am travelling from Vancouver to Kathmandu via Kunming.

I will have 18 hours transit. I want to stay at hotel in the city. Is it possible without visa?

Yes, you can go into the city without a visa. You are eligible for the 24h visa-free policy. After landing, apply for a stay permit at the immigration counter and then leave the airport.
