Why do I feel a strong attraction for Rat man (1996) I'm an Ox Woman (1997)

First day I met him I liked him. It's been a year. Since we go to the same school and see him. At first I definitely saw he was attracted to me. But he's very serious . Help I don't know what to do or why I still like him. Will anything happen in 2017? He's a Fire Rat Man ( I don't know if I'm saying it right) and I'm a Fire Ox Woman.
